Machine meets Nature

One of my favourite moments in the rocky mountains. As we hiked the Plain of Six Glaciers trail from Lake Louise this helicopter was making supply runs. While crossing a natural bridge across a shallow area of the lake we were made aware we were in the supply drop zone! We were rushed across as the helicopter roared over us and got an upclose view of the pilot in action. After hiking further up the trail I set up my location for a shot and got this wonderful view of the chopper flying over Lake Louise and the snow covered mountains in the background.
